My hobby is weaving, I originally wanted to learn how to do willow weaving, so I practiced on paper but never changed. I weave beautiful wastepaper bins and other products (currently lots of chickens and nests) using newspaper, magazines, music scrips and maps – some are available on my Etsy page.
It takes a day to make one bin, so I won’t get rich quick !! but I love the therapeutic qualities of the craft. At every event I go to, I’m constantly demonstrating to reveal the construction process.
