Spring officially sprung at the weekend’s Kelmarsh Show, with the two-day attraction welcoming thousands of eager visitors ready to enjoy, what became a spectacular weekend of countryside fun and entertainment.
Gracing the stunning grounds of Kelmarsh Hall, the Show welcomed some gorgeous Easter sunshine as well as thousands of visitors through its gates for the perfect start to a fantastic weekend.
There was so much on the bill at Kelmarsh at the weekend, with visitors of all ages soaking up the celebratory atmosphere and revelling in the performances. From the breathtaking sight of the Red Devils landing in the Main Arena, to Ben Atkinson’s awesome action-packed action horses, the acts in the Main Arena received rave reviews!
With the start of the qualifiers in many of the countryside sporting activities taking place at Kelmarsh too, competitors were ready and competed in the clay shooting, gundog scurries and the terrier and lurcher racing and showing events.
There’s been so many highlights from exhibitors, visitors and competitors alike, all telling their own fantastic stories and personal achievements. One particular story came from the amazing Air Ambulance who raised an astonishing £1168.09 for their charity across the weekend. A huge well done to everybody who donated and got involved!
Organiser of the Kelmarsh Show, Jerome Roberts says: “We are absolutely thrilled that so many of you were able join us over the weekend. We have been completely overwhelmed by all of your positive stories and experiences that you’ve shared with us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming along, getting stuck in and bringing our much-loved event back to the stunning Kelmarsh grounds.
“We would like to thank all of our visitors, exhibitors and huge team of helpers for making the Kelmarsh Show an absolute delight to be a part of. The entertainment bill has been second-to-none, and along with the glorious sunshine, the weekend was a true celebration of our countryside at its very best, and we know that this year’s event is only the start of something very special.”
